Getting ready for the York trip January 4th. So I checked the Delta site to make sure all was well, and it offered to upgrade me to First on the trip over for $550.
Hm. Fully reclining seats; decent food – sure, why not. I went for it.
It then offered to upgrade me to First for the trip back.
$3,926?? Um. No. I don’t care how tired I am coming back.
Did they assume the $550 was going to lull you into paying an extra $3000 more for the way home? LOL Wonder what they are serving for the trip back? Gold plated steak?
My son says that this is because people are so anxious to get back to Cleveland that they’re willing to pay a high premium. I’m not quite sure I buy that…
Yeah – that is some no-brainer math there…
