Just got back from a Viking cruise down the Rhine with my sisters. Absolutely amazing trip.
Started in Amsterdam – we took an extra couple of days there, so I got to show them around. Then to Kinderdijk
and ended up in Basel, Switzerland. Unfortunately I have no photos of Basel because my plane left there at 6:15 AM. But there was probably beer there also.

I love this! How was your experience on a Viking cruise? We’ve seen their boats when we were in Budapest and see the commercials often. Dallas is really interested in taking one someday. Any thoughts?
Absolutely wonderful. Expensive – especially for a single – but if you want a really nice curated experience with great food, go with it. Your carryon gift has now been to Australia!
